Ahahaha, a trained monkey on a wooden Rossi Yamaha replica! http://www.daylife.com/photo/06JI0tTcLp6ZnAlso, it boggles my mind how someone can VOLUNTARILY (!!!) go out of the house and pose for photographers, looking like THIS: http://resources.motogp.com/files/image ... iginal.jpg Then again, to get rid of the ugliness the whole head and body would have to be disposed of as hazardous waste, so I guess it's lucky for the world that he tries to hide as much as possible with that stuff he calls hair...

Maybe in general, yes, and a universally acknowledged hero (something you'd rarely find these days, because everyone sees heroism differently) has to overcome adversity which usually involves other people suffering, something I don't condone. But in contrast to that I can choose whoever I want as my "personal hero". Maybe tomorrow it'll be the postman, but today it's you and there ain't nobody in the 'verse who can convince me otherwise.

Fueling the fire, German magazine Speedweek (usually one of THE most reliable sources concerning all things MotoGP) reports that Casey's contract with Honda for next year is indeed a done deal. Source: http://www.speedweek.de/art_12926.htmlAnd MCN reports that Crutchlow won't be taking the Tech3 ride this season. More interesting about the story however is that they take it as granted that Edwards will take Rossi's place at Fiat Yamaha from Catalunya onwards until he's back. So they're only looking for a Tech3 replacement rider now. No idea how much truth there is to that though.

That actually wouldn't be so difficult. At the moment Smellichilli has a works bike too, but rides in a satellite team. If they "outsource" one of the other three riders to a team of their liking or maybe create a new one, they can give that rider a works bike too, no problem. However, there will still only be two true factory riders who shape the way to develope the bike I imagine. It's one thing to have a bike exactly like the factory riders, it's another one to have any say in the development.
I'd say it's way too early though to consider this a confirmed plan from HRC. For one, throwing a works bike at Smellichilli still looks like a mighty bad idea as he only throws it into the gravel as a ThankYou. And for a serious company like HRC I highly doubt they ever go so low and bring a clown like him, who pisses off sponsors and media left and right, into a factory team. He doesn't even have any results whatsoever to show for. And also, there's no Randy De Puniet in the plan. This season he's already riding an "upgraded" version of the Honda which is much closer to the Repsol bikes if not an actual works bike (reports weren't really clear on that) and he's obviously bringing in some good results so far. It'd be more than stupid of Honda not consider him for next season.
In the end, pretty much everything is possible if you bring the money, but the season is still very long and as we've seen several times already, anything can happen.

I still feel confident that Dani will be in a one man team though.

Shit. Ralf Waldmann just left the MZ Moto2 project. It seems that him and Martin Wimmer had some disagreements on the lack of financial possibilities they have to continue the project, apparently they've been pretty much begging themselves through the paddock for spare break disks and stuff like this, because they are seriously lacking fundings left and right and Waldi simply said that he can't work like that anymore and now he's not at the tracks with MZ. He still seems to be with MZ itself (after all, he bought the damn thing as a whole), but the racing project is now apparently completely in Wimmer's hands. Waldi said when they find some better financial support for it, he'd love to get involved again, but at the moment he thinks the situation is just not appropriate for racing. This makes me sad.
