Despite Bati not being able to race this weekend we shouldn't be discouraged to blabber on about MotoGP, Moto2 and 125cc. Alvaro will travel to Jerez on Friday, sticking around for Saturday and Sunday, so we'll most likely see his mug several times in the Suzuki garage. Since he's not exactly super-mobile at the moment this should guarantee us a quick shot and/or mention at least every time Hopper is on screen. More bad injury news ahead of the GP include Dani rushing off to surgery right after the race to get his shoulder fixed. Bah. He'll have a whole month to recover afterwards, so let's hope it'll really fix the problem and we can see him back fighting with Casey for victory during the rest of the season. In other news: Still mad at Hopper for using the number 21.

I'm pretty sure Spanish television might do a quick interview with Bati when there's nothing happening on track, maybe even the BBC and/or Sport1. They took absolutely ZERO interest in him when he was away from the track and only ever noticed his absence when he finally went back home on Sunday, so him being at the track and probably not moving around much might help the blind hypocrites from TVE to stumble over him when they've got nothing else to do. [In case I sound a bit peeved, that's probably because I am.] And the fact that Hopper rides this weekend will generate some interest in itself which in turn is inseparably tied to Bati's injury, so there should be some buzz going on in the Suzuki garage for sure, don't worry.

Hopefully Bradl and Cortese will go well again this weekend, not looked at the weather yet.i might not see practice as i might have to go and pick my bike up,my favourite race too since the great battles Criville used to have .As for Hopper, probably been away to long to make any impact,i stand to be corrected though!.Will be good to see Bati there as well and maybe he can help John with settings.

Seeing Elias struggling so badly yet again and even being outclassed by Hopper who's returning after a much longer absence and on a much worse bike, I really can't imagine this going on like that for the rest of the season. They obviously can't change anything about the tyre, the bike setup has its limitations as well, especially since LCR is a satellite team, and the only real way out that I can see is Toni changing his riding style radically. Which he probably won't do and even if he wanted to, it'd take him too long for this season. Honestly, even though I like Toni. his riding style and his grit, I can't really see him back in MotoGP when he continues to be glued to the back of the field like that, regardless of any Moto2 titles and previous achievements in MotoGP. Just don't see it. Dorna's cunning plan to justify their Moto2 scheme by promoting the first world champ to the big class and have him be competitive there definitely backfired in a big way. The funny thing is, just thinking about it, you know who would fit perfectly into the LCR Team? He's got blue eyes and is currently on crutches... Although I'd of course rather see him on factory machinery. Also, him and Lucio Cecchinello together in a team? I'd rather avoid the imminent exploding ovaries...

Watching the qualifying sessions we should have some interesting battles at the front in all three races tomorrow. And if it really starts raining... all bets are off. Dani wouldn't be too unhappy with rain he said. And it might in fact throw up a few surprises should it be wet tomorrow. But even without it I think we're in for some good racing again. Hopkins surprisingly competitive and again not last, kudos. And as expected lots of Bati shots in the box. Anyone happen to watch BBC and know whether or not they might have done an interview with him today? Spanish and Italian TV did, so they might have gotten one as well.

Yep, this should be good indeed! Sad though that Bati can't ride, wet races usually throw up some surprises and he might have been at the sharp end today, who knows.

That was quite an interesting race indeed! Incredibly gutted for Miguel crashing out, but then again, so did pretty much half the field. Until then he showed helluva performance though, definitely put himself on the map once again. Terol, it will be incredibly hard for anyone to beat him this year. He's not only fast, he's also keeping his calm and just gets the work done. Winning so convincingly also in the wet really should put some fear into his competition. Very happy for Zarco getting his first podium, he's such a shy guy, it's great to see him enjoy some success. And Kent & TaylorMack! Awesome rides. At various points during the race I thought "Where xyz suddenly come from?" and with so many crashes it threw up some interesting results, as always. Wet races, I think I love them.

You pretty much covered it there, Neil. Iannothing can jump in a lake for all I care. He should follow the example of Lorenzo - I'm sure nobody would come to rescue him... Very, very happy about Kev's eightf place. Great ride and very much deserved. Too bad we didn't see him on the screen much, but this should give him a boost for the next races. Also, Tom and Stefan now share second place in the championship. Now they can go for the head of Iannothing together...
