EDIT: 22_05_09 We'll keep this topic in full as there's some interesting links and photos. EDIT: 30_06_10 [stv21] We have reopened the BatiFan shop, so if you want some good-looking designs and chose from a wide variety of shirts, sweaters, hoodies, jackets, bags and other things, head over to our shiny Alvaro Bautista Fan Shop. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also found a replica helmet of sorts (via eBay) that appears to be some kind of genuine NZi release, but again no luck with contacting the seller/outlet. Sooooooo... If you know of any links for those of us who don't live in Spain for any kinds of official (or maybe unofficial) gear, then please feel free to share Cheers gb

Some more merchandise news - though at the more pricey end of the fan market - comes with this on the NZi Spyder III R Alvaro Bautista replica helmet.
According to the website of Swedish firm Mc-Boden AB, a new line in Bati replica helmets was launched this year (with a due date of sometime after Mugello if the site is to be believed - our official BatiFans reckoning says they were released end of June); of his 2007 design.
On their NZi news pages they even include this pic of them in production:
I'd only previously traced some down older ones via a Spanish eBay page, but never been able to actually find one to *buy*....
But here it is, in the classy 2007 livery and available through a number of European websites...
The cheapest we've seen it so far is here, on the motobox website - though if you know any different, please post a correction.
No views of the helmet actually show the back of it, though if it's a half-decent replica then obviously it *should* have a nice little 'devil' logo on it.
If you have any certain info about this, then please let us know...
In fact you can still buy the older replica helmet (the RAZER II) from motobox too, click here for the full detail on it, and although it's not as cool overall as the new release, it *odes* have the benefit of having that funky '19' logo on it
Like this...
There's some basic info on the Spyder III R replica at the NZi website (where you can also read snippets about Alvaro, and download a couple of wallpapers), though it doesn't really point you at any retailers.
*************************************************
Don't forget if you have any news or info or tips on Bati merchandise, please share it with other fans up here. Hopefully it'll be for cheaper items than these helmets though!

If anyone wants to be really special and doesn't mind spending a bit more money, try this one:
http://www.seil2.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=226&Itemid=84
It's a custom helmet design. It's not NZI, but Suomy and apparently somewhat semi-official according to the designer (if I understood it right). There's a link on the site where you can buy it on eBay - for 799 Euros... The auction is already over, but apparently the helmets are still available, so I guess you can just ask the seller in case you want one.

For info:
Totmoto also sell the NZi Vitesse replica of Bati's 2006 helmet...
Looks like this:
And its price tag is up near the cost of this year's replica.
Was a lovely helmet though... especially if they have got the 'chrome' look sorted - difficult to tell when there's not actually a reference photo.

Oh wow. Awesome helmets. If only my mum let me ride a bike I would get one of his helmets.

unfortunately we haven't found a non-spanish seller yet. but you can keep an eye on ebay since there are some helmets for sale every now and then.
besides that you can always try to order something from spain if they let you.

Ok, I read on the official board that the fanclub is developing new merchandising!
It's not sure however when it will be available, but they would let it know etc. etc...
Absolutely not sure about the source or anything, but it's a bit of hope for the desperate fan there!

no problem i spook around there anyway
but don't get you're hopes up too high, it was not an announcement or anything by any one on the batigas team, it was just a regular member saying it, so it's all hear-say... the thought they are doing something is nice though

that's right. the thought is nice already. and hope dies last, so at least i'm the optimistic type to always see the light at the end of the dark, dark tunnel... and it would be about time for some new official merch. the last stuff is from 2004 (!) and there was only one new addition in 2006 which you can't buy outside spain...

that is odd indeed
looks nice though, bit like toselands old design but a bit more pointy and with more decorations... it misses the devil on the back though, so i doubt that is the real new design, or at least not the final one....

the white 'shape' around the Bautista word is actually two outward facing kind of abstracted devil faces if you look very carefully... but not Bati's little devil!
