They've published a short version of the "Ask the Rookies" answers as a free video - and it includes my question for Alvaro. (though the second part of the question is missing) http://www.motogp.com/en/videos/2010/As ... rt+versionI love how his face lights up and the smile comes out the moment he hears the word "Talavera", such a lucky town to have inhabitants like him. And is it just me or do the questions for Alvaro and Hiroshi seem to be the only ones specifically for them? The rest sound a bit generic to me, like they could have been asked of anyone. I think it's hilarious though that they ask Tonto of all people about the safety gear... "We change it after every crash" - So, every weekend that is, yes?

I've just cashed out on the fancy highres video pass for the Qatar test and I'm currently watching all the new Alvaro videos. And Neil, your question was indeed included in the long version of the video. There didn't seem to be too many questions for Alvaro overall though (lazy Batifans!). I'm currently trying to cut together Alvaro's answers, but my laptop is acting a bit bitchy at the moment, so I'm afraid you'll have to wait a bit for it. Random observations from the video: Barbera pronounces Ben Spies indeed like "Ben spies (for Yamaha)" with a wonderful "shp" at the beginning. Love it. Speaking of whom: I stick to my conviction that giving interviews with sunglasses on when you're not currently propped right against the sun or have a severe eye-threatening medical issue is pretty douchey, no matter how cool you think your sunglasses look or how much your sponsor pays you...
