New year, new leather brand apparently. REV'IT! this time. Randy de Puniet helped developing it, so it must be good and properly tested.

Quote:
REV'IT! is proud to announce: Alvaro Bautista

Taking it to the next level. That is what Alvaro Bautista decided to do this year. 2010 Will be the first year for Alvaro Bautista to compete in the King's Class: MotoGP. Alvaro Bautista was looking for a partner that could meet up with his wishes and demands. He found it in REV'IT!

Alvaro Bautista is no stranger in the GP. In 2002 he had his first Grand Prix debut. He started out in 125cc and then moved up to 250cc, where he also scored many podiums and victories. Last year Alvaro Bautista finished fourth in the 250cc championship. Now it is time to fight along with the big guys. Together with the official Rizla Suzuki MotoGP team, Alvaro Bautista will be fighting for the 2010 championship.

"It was very important for me to have the opportunity to work directly with a factory team. The Rizla Suzuki MotoGP team was the one that could offer this to me, so I decided to work with them.

I am very excited about upcoming season. It will be a whole new experience: new bike, new team, new championship. At this moment I am working out a lot. The bike has more power and also weighs more, so I need to be in good condition.

Like me, REV'IT! is learning and improving all the time. I am very much looking forward to be fighting for the championship in my REV'IT! leathers."

REV'IT! is proud to announce, Alvaro Bautista will be competing in REV'IT! leathers and looks forward to working with this new MotoGP hero.

I like it they call him a MotoGP hero :giggle:

Obligatory pretty picture of which I must find a bigger version:

I have to join you in that quest to find a bigger version of this picture. ;)
REV'IT sounds good, the leathers Randy was wearing last year always looked pretty good and if it wasn't for the obligatory all-baby blue for Bati he'd probably wear an awesome design this season. We'll see.
The photo is a rather nice teaser though I do hope we'll get more promotions like that throughout the year...

Yeah I hope they do lots and lots of promotions :D The company is based pretty close to where I am, and they made Randy do an appearance in a bike shop last year or two years ago. So, if any of the REV'IT people are reading this: please make Alvaro do that as well, there'll be at least one visitor/potential customer

I'm very curious how they'll do the baby blue  only a bit now before we can see :oD:

A thought just hit me: Is that picture photoshopped?

Well, yes it's photoshopped, they made it blue :P
Other than that, maybe a few touch-ups here and there, nothing major i think  why?

That's not what I meant, pringle. ;)
I just had a weird deja-vu like I've already seen the pic of him before and I guess I've been exposed to too many Suzuki manips after Brno, so I'm automatically looking for the picture line between his head and the start of the jacket...
Just had a look through my archive though and I can't find a pic where he looks like that, so it's probably alright. ;)

Just to let you know that the guys from Rev'it! have started to revamp their website which now includes a picture of Alvaro on the startpage as a teaser, a new gallery of their sponsored riders which of course includes Alvaro and the nice shot from Sepang, an updated Revzine for Spring/Summer 2010 which features Alvaro and a pretty cool "Inspired by MotoGP" video with Randy De Puniet who wears exactly the same leathers, undersuit and gloves as Alvaro this season, in case you're interested in some closeup shots of that (or of Randy, whatever you prefer...).
And to top it off they're also having a little competition going atm for everyone subscribing to their newsletter until the end of April; you can win a trip for 2 plus hotel stay to a GP of your choice including paddock passes and meets with the Rev'it! riders... thought some of you might be interested. ;)

It's here: http://www.revit.eu/en/#/win/

The easy navigation on the page has suffered a little with the overhaul, but in general it looks pretty cool and seeing Randy De Puniet featured so excessively with video ads, interviews and photoshoots, I'm very hopeful we might get to see some nice features for Alvaro this season as well. :D
