Erm, yeah... Did you also read the article where Max and his manager said they didn't know if any of that will happen and that actually nobody's been knocking on their doors yet?

Not to mention that a "mysterious sponsor with deep pockets" could well be just the wet dream fantasy of someone in the paddock. Or the small problem of Ducati not wanting to provide a 7th bike. Or the fact that aside from his nationality Max is not exactly the most fitting candidate for a MotoGP seat at the moment (sorry, Max), cause looking at his credentials so far there are at least a dozen other riders who'd probably get a seat before he does. And should.
Unless someone really, really, really likes the guy and/or his nationality, this is nothing but a desperate attempt to rekindle a now lukewarm silly season that's heading for the freezer fast with just about every seat taken by now.

But maybe the hot air will be enough to get a balloon flying.

Max Neukirchner possibly next year in MotoGP on a Ducati !!!

Now this is what we really call silly season. Sportmediaset through their daily TV sports show Studio Sport is reporting that World Superbike Ten Kate Honda rider Max Neukirchner may be heading to MotoGP next season with a German backed team.

The new team has an important sponsor that has very deep pockets and willing to shell out, not only 3 million euros for a Ducati Desmosedici, but also support the team in a big way if Dorna approves the entry (they’re probably jumping with joy and preparing the red carpet) and this could mean we may be seeing seven Ducati’s on the grid in 2011.





this would be so nice if we had an German Rider in MotoGP again

Know what you mean Karina,it seems Sept 5th at Misano is cursed,Rainey had his accident on that day and now Shoya He wore the famous 74 on his leathers and how very sad to also lose his life racing.......but we all know the risks unfortunately.Must admit i slammed that visor shut on Mon and went for it going to work,and then had a wee smile,that's for you Shoya

Rizla Suzuki Race Director Shinichi Sahara told Speedweek that Suzuki discuss in Japan about the Sport Engagement. They plan with a 2 Rider Team, but he don´t negate a possibly Suzuki Pullout next Season !

Andrea Dovizioso gets a Factory Honda, but they dont know the colour of the Bike yet

Like Dani,team Purr will be making a late charge,problems with "fuelling" for the cat.After a few weeks of "testing" hopefully we have solved the problem.

No but I wasn't shocked about Ben getting podiums and getting pole positions. James did fine in 2008 until Tech 3 screwed it up amongst other riders. Sorry for me Ben's not been that impressive to me. I am just getting sick and tired of the hype of Ben Spies. His name is just plastered everywhere I go. It's doing my head in.
